Quarterly mission support is provided for two missionaries, Farrai Denga and Lucky Ncube, who have been overseeing the development of 13 churches since 2001. Both missionaries are based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, with financial support for their wages coming from Court Drive Church in Palestine, Texas, and Riverside Church in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Notably, two new churches were established in July 2023—one in Lockhart and another in Gwamba. Since its inception in June, the combined membership of these churches has reached around four hundred individuals.

In response to the rapid growth and positive reception of the gospel, a new missionary, Moses Shuro, has been hired. Moses will be responsible for overseeing four churches and managing the maintenance of the Macengwane COC Clinic, which was completed in 2018. Additionally, he will supervise the upkeep of two wells drilled to provide water for the clinic and the drip irrigation project, which was completed in 2023.

Reporting lines have been established, with Moses Shuro reporting to the Bulawayo Eldership and sending quarterly reports to SDG International.

In a humanitarian effort, a food drive has been initiated to address the urgent need in the Gwamba community. Due to the destruction of the 2023 harvest by wild elephants, the initiative aims to provide 6,000 pounds of maize per month through the first quarter of 2024.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
